What is DPA?

The Privacy Act 1988 of Australia is an essential piece of legislation that regulates how entities handle personal information. It sets out rules for the collection, use, disclosure, and storage of personal information, and provides individuals with certain rights in relation to their personal information. The Act applies to Australian government agencies and private sector organizations that have an annual turnover of $3 million or more.

We use encryption and secure storage methods to protect personal information, and we regularly review and test our security measures to ensure that they are effective.

We also have strict policies in place regarding access to personal information, and we limit access to personal information to only those employees who require it to perform their duties.

To ensure transparency and accountability in our handling of personal information, we have implemented a privacy policy that outlines our practices in relation to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information. We are committed to complying with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which are a set of guidelines developed by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) to assist organizations in meeting their obligations under the Privacy Act.
